ABOUT Compass basKeTball
|Fees||DEPENDS ON PROGRAM|
Compass is a community basketball program that started in Pond Mills area in the summer of 2013. It started as pick-up ball with over 30 local high school boys, some with experience and many without.
Since then, Compass has expanded to provide training camps, leagues, AAU Teams and more so that more youth can have the opportunity to develop their skills, character and team play.
The goal was always to use basketball to build relationships, create mentoring opportunities, provide a safe environment where players feel loved and encouraged, and to allow them to find their God-given purpose and identity.
The goal has never changed.
We have moved our team platform to online. This is a closed group for Team Compass players to continue receiving encouragement and home strength training during this time of Self Isolation.
If you are a Team Compass player, please direct message a coach for the Zoom access code and password to join sessions on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

The focus is always on developing our players as people first, to build their character and understanding of their self-worth. To accomplish this, we provide intentional activities and sessions solely based on character development.
We encourage each player and help them realize their God given potential. We provide coaches who can be role models to our players. We help provide academic support and accountability to our players. Our Program can be summarized with the ABC’s
Academics, Basketball, Character
The summer break provide an excellent opportunity for players to work on and develop their game. We work hard and we have fun. Our camps focus on the fundamentals of dribbling, passing and shooting. Player’s will be challenged to learn new skills and to keep their bodies in basketball shape.
