ABOUT Summit Camps

PROGRAM Summit Camp
Day Seasonal
Ages 12-17
Fees Varies

Summit Camps are action-packed and skill-focused for youth ages 12-17. Each week is themed for a different area of interest and designed specifically for older youth who may have grown tired of the usual kid’s day camp.

A typical week of Summit Camp involves daily skill sessions in a variety of areas, visits from professional instructors, intense and fun group games, team challenges, outdoor swimming, faith and character development discussion, small group hang outs, and free time.

We always end our camp weeks with a day trip to a new and exciting place. Trips planned for this summer (2019) include:Adventure Bay, Bingemans, Toronto exploring (and a tour at the Art Gallery of Ontario), and a mystery trip on the Leadership Week.

Lunch OptionCampers can choose from two lunch options:

  • Bring your own lunch
  • Purchase daily lunches through our Cafe Connect at the cost of $6 per day (to be pre-paid on the Monday of the week of camp)

Subsidies Available:  We can also provide subsidies for families with a gross income under $55,000. Please contact the office if your family can benefit from a subsidy. We want every youth to be able to participate in our camps.

If you are a youth who is 16 or older, we recommend that you apply as a volunteer for the potential of being involved with the camps as a Counselor in Training (CIT) or in the Summer Support Team.

The CIT and Summer Support Teams are created to assist and work alongside the staff and leadership team who will be facilitating all summer programs in order to build into employable skills such as teamwork, work ethic, leadership, planning, and community partnership.

Our desire is that every young person could experience at least one week at camp this summer.  Therefore we have some subsidy funding available (thanks to the generosity of our financial partners) to help ease the cost of camp.
