We are extending our facility closure and community programs until clearance to begin gathering has been provided by the governing officials.

Over the past 3 weeks, the staff at YFC London have been active in creating online groups and activities for youth to be engaged in.  Please be sure to check out the opportunities listed throughout the website.  Also, check out our program updates on their social media pages.  There are many competitions and other challenges that are being provided to keep everyone active and socially connected.

Additionally, YFC London has transformed it’s training kitchen and cafe to provide meals, Monday – Friday, between 4-6pm to youth and families in need.  Between the loss of financial resources and/or youth access to community agencies, the need for additional meals has risen significantly.  We have been approached by several agencies to provide additional meal supports to them.  We are thankful that we have this facility to meet the growing needs in our city.

If you would like to assist through a donation to support the growing food costs, please donate HERE.

Also, if you hear of a family in need that you believe YFC London could support, please let us know by contacting us at [email protected].

Thank you and God bless,

Based on all the most up-to-date and best possible information available, London Youth for Christ (YFCLondon) has made the most difficult decision to suspend all community programs and youth centre programs until April 6, 2020.

YFC London is committed to abiding by the directives of our Public Health officials and has outlined clear guidelines for our ministry teams in this time.

We do not take this decision lightly and will be looking for ways to stay connected during this time of social isolation. Our first desire is to live and model the way of Jesus in this season. With God’s help, we seek to be courageous, wise, kind, and peaceful in our response to this emerging crisis and in all of our relationships.

We are committed to the vulnerable children, youth, families, and communities we serve and will not abandon them during this time. To that end, we will stay relationally engaged with all of those we serve. We will not be running regular, gathered programs. Instead, we will – with all necessary precautions taken – pursue opportunities to creatively engage in other ways in order to love, care, and support our precious young people, their families, and communities.

The leadership and staff of YFCLondon appreciate your patience and support during this complex and rapidly evolving situation. If there are any specific needs that arise during this time for your family or youth, please let us know so that we can serve you as best possible.

In our prayers,

James Coolidge
Executive Director, YFCLondon
